Chowdren - Blazingly fast Fusion ports for desktop, consoles and mobile

Hey guys. We have been doing a lot of work the last 4 years on something called Chowdren.
    It is currently used for

    • Noitu Love: Devolution (Wii U, 3DS)
    • Not a Hero (Windows, Mac, Linux, PS4, XB1, Android)
    • Heart Forth, Alicia (Windows, Mac, Linux, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U)
    • Freedom Planet (Windows, Mac, Linux, Wii U, PS4)
    • The Escapists (Mac, Linux)
    • Knytt Underground (Windows, Mac, Linux, Wii U)
    • Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures (Wii U, 3DS)
    • The Great Work (Windows, Mac, Linux)

    What is Chowdren?

Chowdren is a fast, portable runtime for Clickteam Fusion.
It's blazingly fast, since your events are converted to optimized C++ code.
It works on Windows, Linux, Mac, Wii U, 3DS, PS4, PS Vita, XB1, Android (+ Fire TV), HTML5.
This means you can get your game on all desktop platforms, consoles and mobile!

Some usage instructions can be found on ClickWiki.

    Support

Chowdren supports the majority of all popular extensions and features.
This includes functionality from 105 different extensions and 37 shaders.

Also, Chowdren will map common extensions to the platform in question.
For example, Joystick 2 will automatically use PS4/3DS input, Steamworks will use achievements/trophies, and so on.

    Technical

Benchmarks and some technical information about the converter and architecture can be found here.

    Service

We provide a service where we will port your game using Chowdren.
In short, we can take your MFA all the way to launch on another platform.
Based on years of Fusion and porting experience, we can manually optimize and help you make non-trivial changes to the game.

Depending on our schedule, we may have time for your project!
You can mail me at mat (at) mp2 (dot) dk if you'd like to talk.
    Serious proposals only, please

    License

If you are interested in a commercial license, you can mail me at mat (at) mp2 (dot) dk.
Please note that this license is meant for serious developers with a budget only.

    Enjoy!

Active Picture, Binary Array, File, ForEach, Ini++1.5, Keyboard object, Layer object, Python object, Sound player, Stochastic Utility and Window Control. However, not every feature of every object is actually implemented, only ones I use.

Alongside the default Objects i presume?

It would be nice for those of us who want/ are going to use Chowdren to have some sort of documentation stating which features of which Objects are supported, so we dont run intoo a wall.

Introducing Chowdren - The MMF to C++ converter

That's extremely cool, saves a lot of time coding. This is the equivalent of a port vs. a rom and emulator. I hope to see this branch out and support more extensions.

I'm surprised Clickteam has gone so opensource with the runtimes recently, it's a really nice atmosphere and great work on this Mathias, I know you had a few derp moments and other struggles, but the code looks pretty nice
